Badness
Badness is a Rust-based language server, formatter, and linter for LaTeX and BibTeX, supporting document authors and developers of LaTeX packages and classes.
Badness provides formatting, linting, and editor features for LaTeX and BibTeX. It supports documents and bibliographies, as well as packages, classes, and documented source files, including both LaTeX2e and LaTeX3 code.
An incremental parser builds a lossless syntax tree that Badness uses to format code, report syntax errors, and check best practices. The language server adds hover information, symbol outlines, go-to-definition, and code actions. Badness works from the command line and integrates with editors through the Language Server Protocol, with a VS Code extension that bundles the binary.
